United Nations invites nominations of individuals or organizations for the 2018 United Nations Prize in the Field of Human Rights. The prize will be awarded at an event at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 10 December 2018, as part of the annual commemoration of the Human Rights Day. The United Nations Prize in the Field of Human Rights (The UN Human Rights Prize) is an honorary award given to individuals or organizations in recognition of their outstanding contributions in the field of human rights.
This electronic nomination form must be submitted, or a printed form has to be postmarked, by 23.59 EST on 22 April 2018 (address for hard-copy submissions is on the print-ready form available for download).
There is a limit to the number of characters for the response to some of the questions, and should you exceed the limit, you will not be able to submit the nomination and will lose all the data entered. You are therefore encouraged to save your text on a word document.
